1. How did you find out about CVSC?
My hairstylist actually convinced me to try it. I showed up with my mom for my first newbie workout and thought I might throw up 😅 But somehow I loved it and I’ve been hooked ever since.
2. What is your favorite exercise or workout?
Anything with a barbell. Cleans and snatches are my favorites. There’s just something fun about throwing heavy weight around.
3. How long have you been a member at CVSC?
Since February 2009… so 17 years! That makes me feel a little old, but it’s been an amazing community to be part of.
4. What do you do for a living?
I run domestic operations for Weber/Blackstone. I oversee orders, logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations—basically making sure everything gets where it needs to go.
5. What are your hobbies?
In the summer we’re usually camping or out on the boat. Winter is basically dance competition season for my kids. I also love to travel anytime I get the chance to get out of the valley.
6. What are your goals?
Honestly, to make a lot of great memories with my kids. I also want to help them build healthy habits early so they can carry that into their lives.
7. Why do you train?
I love how I feel after a workout. I love getting stronger and proving to myself that I can do things that used to feel impossible. It clears my head and sets the tone for the rest of my day.
8. Any advice for future members?
Stick with it. Progress takes time, but it will come. Be consistent, trust the process, and one day you’ll realize the things that once felt impossible are just part of your normal workout.
